I have been a California native since birth. I graduated high school in Santa Ana California and moved to the Five Cities in 2013, where I presently own and operate a small flooring installation business. My oldest daughter is a graduate of Arroyo Grande High School and my youngest is currently a sophomore. 

I am concerned with the way our tax dollars are being spent—our hard-earned dollars are being spent on wasteful agendas and less on traditional education. I believe in a back-to-basics approach: emphasizing core subjects, reading, writing, mathematics and science, while cultivating practical and critical thinking skills.

My campaign's first priority is financial responsibility. I do not support another school bond of 143 million dollars that will increase property taxes for all residents in our district. The last bond has not been paid off yet. These costs are apparent in the ever-increasing rent prices and mortgage payments are at an all-time high.

I believe Lucia Mar School District must respect the rights of parents, be held financially accountable and conduct classrooms without personal or political agendas. It's time for a change. With your vote, change is possible. I look forward to serving you and our students.
